Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 13, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how PageLens ("PageLens", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use usepagelens.com and its services (the "Service"). PageLens is operated from Greece and complies with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Information We Collect

  • Website scans. The URLs you submit for analysis and the resulting image-audit data (scores, detected issues, thumbnails).
  • Account data. If you create an account: your email address and a securely hashed password.
  • Billing data. Subscription plan and payment status. Card details are handled directly by our payment processors — we never store full card numbers.
  • Usage data. Standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, used to operate and secure the Service.

2. Anonymous Scans

You can run an audit without an account. For anonymous scans we do not link results to any personal profile. Scan results may be temporarily cached to display your report and are not sold or shared for advertising.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To run image audits and generate AI-based improvement suggestions.
  • To create and manage your account and subscription.
  • To send service-related emails (e.g. account, billing, or scan-completion notices).
  • To maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve the Service.

4. Third-Party Services

We share the minimum data necessary with trusted providers who process it on our behalf:

  • Stripe and PayPal — payment processing.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery.
  • Leonardo AI — generating improved image suggestions.
  • Hosting & database providers — running the application and storing account data.

We do not sell your personal data.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the Service, and limited analytics to understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

6. Data Retention

We keep account and billing data for as long as your account is active and as required for legal and accounting purposes. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email below.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
